March 3rd of last year was the last post I have written here in a while. Work, college and fatherhood takes up a lot time. Because of all that, I use video games and drinking to combat the stress that might arise because of that. But none of those were the reasons I haven't written on here. One of the reasons is the lack of motivation. A lot has happened to me personally and professionally. Dealing with life as it comes has lowered my motivation to post. Another thing is the lack of traffic to this site. One thing that has been drilled into my head the last 6-8 months is to keep pushing. This is not going to happen overnight. Nipsey Hussle got murdered and left his family behind a legacy. He will forever be immortalized as a legend because of how he lived his life. People heard his talent because he put it out there. Kobe tragically passed recently and he was already a legend. Now the world mourns the death of someone who was thought to be invincible. The world saw his talent on display for 20 years and even in retirement, he still was making an impact. Both of these Black men will always be remembered. I'm in no way trying to compare myself to them but one of lessons I have learned from their deaths are that tomorrow isn't promised. I can't wait for the right time. I can't be discouraged when I'm not getting the views on here. Be rest assured. One thing I haven't done during this time is stop writing. So until I come up with new content, I will be posting writings that I've written since March of last year. You have to keep pushing through.
